We are looking to grow our Finance team, with a Finance and Administration Assistant.

You will provide various parts of the organisation with vital administrative support, as well as some receptionist duties.

This dynamic role will sit within the Finance team and report to the Director of Finance, however it will directly support the areas of Administration, Finance, Fundraising, and three different Service Delivery functions, enabling Headway East London to provide the best and most effective services for people living with bran injury.

We are looking to grow our Community Support Worker team, with a Casual Community Support Worker.

As Community Support Worker, you will work one to one to deliver cover support work to one member of our brain injury community in Waltham Forest. You will follow existing support plans to provide support to manage activities at home, maximise opportunities and choices, support wellbeing and provide advocacy.

The post is being offered on a casual contract.

Work will be allocated with a requirement of a minimum of 19 hours per week divided into 4 support sessions. Additional occasional cover work may be available in Headway East London’s 13 borough catchment area as required by the service.

We are looking for an Associate Psychotherapist / Counselling Psychologist to provide psychotherapy assessments and treatment for people with acquired brain injury, and in some instances their family members, who have been referred to the Headway East London Private Therapy Service and the Enfield Brain Injury Service (Enfield).

The role requires a minimum commitment of at least 4 months, every Wednesday from 3.30pm to 8.30pm.

We are looking for Event Volunteers to support our ever-expanding and exciting events calendar.

You will be volunteering alongside our project leads as well as volunteers from our Day Service and people living with acquired brain injury. You don’t need any special skills or knowledge, we’ll give you the induction you need, and support is always on hand!

The role is varied and volunteering hours usually start after 4.30pm/5pm for about 5 hours. Occasionally our events will happen during the weekend. You will be mostly based at our centre in Hackney but travel maybe needed for specific occasional events offsite. Please read the Application Pack for examples of some our regular events.
