In November 2006, Barrie was knocked down by a hit and run driver as he crossed the road. “Fractured skull, grade three coma, spark out.”
As a popular lead singer in a local band, his brain injury would have a profound effect not only on his own life, but on the many friendships he had made during a colourful life in the East End.
Told in partnership with former bandmate Dave, Barrie’s story looks at the strength of friendship, the struggle to imitate a previous life, and the continuing journey of acceptance.
