If you’ve been a supporter of Headway East London for a while, you’ll know that we like food. A lot.
Our members are integral to this – cooking lunch for everyone at the centre each day and bringing in new ideas and recipes to share.
Now we have actually been running Supper Clubs for a couple of years now, but this year we wanted a bit of a change…..
With Headway EATS, we wanted to bring the focus back to our community. This means offering half of our tickets to members and their families and carers, and selling the other half to the public.
That way, we ensure that people new to Headway’s work get a real sense of what we get up to, and our members and families get a chance to meet others in the same situation. All with great food and entertainment thrown in. Oh and did we mention it’s only £15?!
We also want to showcase our talents outside of the kitchen, so guests will be treated to musical performances, artwork and readings by our members throughout the evening. We hope it gives you just a little taste of life here at Headway East London.
This year, we are lucky to be supported by Anthony Gold Solicitors who have sponsored the event – meaning the money you pay will be going straight back into funding our services.
