We are delighted to invite you to “The Power of Transformation“, an exhibition by Submit to Love artists Cecil Waldron & Billy Mann at Burgh House, Hampstead.
Working side by side in the Submit to Love studios for many years, our members and artists Cecil Waldron and Billy Mann have harnessed the creative process of drawing and stitching to transform archetypes into fascinating people.
“The people that Cecil draws are the most interesting people, they are the people I want to meet. When he draws, he transforms the individuals. When I recreate his images in stitch, I get to repeat the transformation.” Billy Mann
The exhibition is part of “Artist in Focus”, Burgh House’s programme to address barriers and encourage greater diversity in the art world, funded by Osbornes Law.

On Thursday 31st August we are hosting a collaborative stitch workshop with our artists Billy, Cecil, Sean and Brian, part of Headway East London’s “Sew Bros”.
Join us and discover the joy of community embroidery!
Free for all in the Peggy Jay Gallery, Burgh House, from 12pm to 1pm.
No sewing experience required.
