On Friday 13 September we hosted a supper club in collaboration with Mike’s Table, an East London social enterprise offering opportunities to share a meal in a welcoming environment.
A real feeling of community filled the room, with new faces from Mike’s Table mixing and mingling with members and carers from our services.
The kitchen crew welcomed chef Andi into the fold, developing and preparing a delicious menu just hours before guests arrived. The high-quality ingredients were provided by City Harvest, who donates surplus food that would otherwise go to waste.
Our members Keith E and Marcus teamed up with the Mike’s Table front-of-house crew, welcoming every guest with a smile and ensuring everyone had the best time.
A special thank you to our DJ K-line, who provided top disco and funk records, and to Zuber, Kay and James for their spectacular live performances.
