Whilst Headway East London has sadly had to close the doors to our day centre, we’re working very hard to ensure of our members stay connected. Being part of a vulnerable community means that social distancing comes with additional challenges, as people still need care and support from specialist services like ours.
We’re facing financial difficulty, but we still have lots of work to do and we WILL carry on. This is where you could help.
We’ve identified three small ways you can help Headway East London reaches as many brain injury survivors and their families:
DONATE YOUR COMMUTE
Most Londoners and beyond will now be working from home for the next few weeks (at least!). Our Community Support staff will still be travelling across the city to support our members (in the safest way possible). Would you consider donating one day of your usual train/tube/bus fare to Headway?

We might not be able to run any public events at the moment, but they’re one of our favourite things: seeing members share their skills and talents with the community!
