Thousands of people leave legacy gifts, please consider joining them by leaving us a gift in your will. After you’ve taken care of your loved ones, just 1% would make a massive difference to brain injury survivors in the future, and won’t cost you anything in your lifetime.
Your gift will help brain injury survivors to reconfigure shattered lives long into the future. It will allow people who’ve lost everything to regain a sense of purpose and fulfilment. It will make sure we can continue to give them the tools to restart, and it will protect future survivors from being left without our support.

“I think Headway is invaluable, it’s saved me. And not only me, but my family as well. They really did” –
This is a lovely way to remember them, and it will enable brain injury survivors to regain control of their lives to build a positive future for years to come. You can celebrate a loved one’s life by setting up a fund in their memory, or ask friends and family to make a donation instead of giving flowers at a funeral or memorial service. You can set up an in memory fundraising page quickly and easily through Just Giving, and the donations will come to us directly, or you can ask your funeral director to collect and send us donations.
Member Peter Godbold gave a substantial legacy gift which led to the creation of our fantastic Submit To Love studio space. This gift has has brought creativity and all the joy and fulfilment that making art brings into our member artist’s lives, and will continue to do so for many years to come.
We’re also so grateful to our long-term Headway supporter Gladys Hoare for her very generous legacy gift, which has helped us to support hundreds more brain injury survivors and their families since 2018.
