Leave a legacy gift

By leaving a gift in your Will, you can continue to make an impact on the future of brain injury survivors.

Leaving a legacy gift to Headway East London is a profound way to ensure your compassion continues to make a difference for years to come. It’s an opportunity to create a lasting impact, providing future generations of brain injury survivors with the crucial services they need to navigate their challenges and thrive.

A gift in your will, no matter the size, will help Headway East London continue our invaluable work, providing everything from therapeutic activities and advocacy to crucial emotional support. After you’ve taken care of your loved ones, just 1% can make a big difference to brain injury survivors in the future, and won’t cost you anything in your lifetime.

By leaving a legacy gift in your Will, you can help make sure we can continue to provide care and life-changing support to brain injury survivors and their families for years to come.

I think Headway is invaluable, it’s saved me. And not only me, but my family as well. They really did.

Give in memory of a loved one…

You can celebrate a loved one’s life by setting up a fund in their memory, or ask friends and family to make a donation instead of giving flowers at a funeral or memorial service.

You can set up an in-memory fundraising page quickly and easily through Just Giving, and the donations will come to Headway East London directly; or you can ask your funeral director to collect and send us donations.

Our supporters’ legacies

Headway Member Peter

Member Peter Godbold gave a substantial legacy gift which led to the creation of our fantastic Submit to Love art studio. This gift has brought the creativity, joy and fulfilment of making art into so many of our members’ lives, and will continue to do so for many years to come.

We’re also so grateful to our long-term Headway supporter Gladys Hoare for her very generous legacy gift, which has helped us to support hundreds more brain injury survivors and their families since 2018.
