differently various at Applecart Arts is the first of our four differently various in different spaces exhibitions, bringing artwork and events to local centres in the 13 boroughs we serve.
Enjoy beautiful art by Submit to Love studio artists, meet local Headway East London members and learn about their stories and experience of life after brain injury.
The exhibition at Applecart Arts highlights the Headway community and its relationships with a focus on embroidered artworks.
Reflecting on friendships, members and memories, the exhibition includes the group presentations Sew Bros and Sister Stitch, as well as the intimate embroidery, My Mother by Claudine Roux.
Next to these fantastic stitched artworks you can find the collaged brain sculpture, Waking up to my Destiny, by Dave Mercer.
