Join us on Thursday 2nd February at Francis Crick Institute for a screening of the cult classic Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, as part of their Science on Screen programme – exploring the science behind popular films.

Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind follows the story of Joel (Jim Carrey), who is heartbroken to discover that his ex-girlfriend Clementine (Kate Winslet) underwent a procedure to erase him from her memory, and decides to do the same.

After the film Francis Crick scientist Julia Harris and neuropsychologist Vaughan Bell will join our members to discuss how the brain stores memories, and how memory loss can impact our identity and relationships with those closest to us.
