Meet the hidden me - life after brain injury

This panel discussion, facilitated by Headway East London’s Therapies Team, will offer an insight into the lived experiences of Enfield residents living with a brain injury.

They will discuss the impact brain injury can have on relationships and friends and family, living with an invisible disability and how employers can be more supportive and accessible. Attendees will come away with a better understanding of how to support and understand anyone affected by brain injury.

This is a relaxed event designed to be fully accessible. There will be a designated break space, and attendees are welcome to move around and take breaks whenever they need to. The venue is fully wheelchair accessible.

This event is part of the differently various in different spaces events programme.

1.30-2.20 Panel discussion followed by Q&A
2.20-2.35 Tea & cake break
2.35-3.20 Discussion at tables in smaller groups on invisible disability, brain injury and relationships and accessibility in the workplace
3.20 Music performance and singalong!
