differently various at Westminster City Hall is part of our four differently various in different spaces exhibitions, bringing artwork and events to local centres in the 13 boroughs we serve.

Enjoy beautiful art by Submit to Love studio artists, meet local Headway East London members and learn about their stories and experience of life after brain injury.

In the Westminster Community Gallery at Westminster City Hall you will find the acclaimed monumental installation Us Lot, a collection of portraits by members of themselves and each other. From Errol Drysdale’s celebratory self-portrait featuring his wheelchair on top of a column to a poem by David Keen, a selection of artworks will explore brain injury, disability and recovery.

You will be able to enjoy the intricate details on the sculptural column, When Women and Fish Ruled the World and the monochromatic drawings by Tirzah Mileham. Don’t miss the dazzling and sea-like series of ceramics by Terrance Barr, titled Neural Reef Series, drawing connections between the human brain and coral reefs.

The Westminster Community Gallery is open for viewing from 9am until 5pm, Monday to Friday. Currently visitors can access the exhibition only by appointment. To arrange a visit, please book in advance by emailing cityhall18thfloormeetingrooms@westminster.gov.uk and please mention that you are visiting the mezzanine gallery on the upper ground floor.
