Make a one off donation
Don't forget to Gift Aid any donations. Gift Aid allows charities to recover the tax paid on donations made in the last four years. Donations are increased by 25p for every £1 at no extra cost to yourself. Just complete the Gift Aid declaration or follow instructions when donating online.
You can help us reach out and support more brain injury survivors by donating to us directly from your salary each pay day!

It costs £90 for a member to attend Headway East London each day. We are asking supporters to think of any way they can to raise £90 with the aim to raise enough for a whole year for one member! Headway East London Shop
In 2017 we opened our first online shop, selling gift products and merchandise which has been designed by our members. All profits go back into the charity - helping to support more people affected by brain injury.

Charity of the Year
Taking on Headway East London as your Charity of the Year is a great way to participate in volunteering and fundraising activities whilst boosting team morale, improving communication and having fun! We can provide fundraising advice and support throughout the year and offer places in popular events such as the RideLondon 100. Previous organisations have taken part in a wide variety of activities ranging from dress down days to climbing mountains, cycling and running marathons as part of their year supporting Headway.
Volunteer & Pro Bono
Could you provide a space for an art exhibition or fundraising events?
Perhaps you could provide volunteers for an outing or project and help fund the trip?
Previous examples include trips to London Zoo, The Snow Centre and projects include building pizza ovens or helping in the garden.
Are you looking for unique artwork for your office? All of our artwork is for sale and proceeds support our members to develop their confidence and skills in the art studio.
We also offer exciting Corporate Art Workshops which act as fantastic team building days for organisations.
Do you have one day a week to spare? Are you interested in art/cooking/music/gardening/socialising? Would you like to meet new people in a relaxed and fun environment?
Volunteers are vital to what we do here at Headway House. Working alongside our staff team, you will help to run activities in our Day Service whilst also spending valuable time with our members.
If you’re interested in learning more about brain injury or the complexities of living with a disability this is an excellent opportunity. About a third of our volunteer group have had a brain injury themselves and bring valuable personal experience and understanding to their roles.
What will I do?
As a volunteer you can get involved in a huge range of activities going on at Headway House. From helping in the art studio, to assisting in the kitchen, or taking part in a discussion group – you have the opportunity to support members both one-to-one and in groups.
No special skills or knowledge are required. You’ll receive an induction and support is always on hand. We also hold regular volunteer meetings and training sessions.
