Day service members, as part of their membership have access to the therapy team and have a wide variety of therapeutic groups that they can access. However for individuals who are not day service members (including those that receive the support worker service) then this is a paid service. They can either do this privately, use their personal budget or can speak to their GP to see if funding can be sought via the CCG.
There is different costs depending on the therapy, therapist and we do have a sliding scale for psychotherapy. Price is on application. Contact therapies@headwayeastlondon.org for more information.

Great news! Once you have signed up to your event, give Rosy a call on 020 77497790 and we will send you a fundraising toolkit and sponsorship forms to help you get started. We will also provide information resources about Headway, help you to set up an online page and send you a Headway vest!
If you have an online page, such as Virgin Money Giving, donations made via your page will be automatically sent to Headway East London. If you have collected cash/cheques, firstly, count the cash and deposit it into your bank account. We advise you don’t send cash in the post. Instead, you can send the donations to us through our website with your card or send a cheque payable to Headway East London for the amount in the post to Timber Wharf, 238-240 Kingsland Road, London, E2 8AX
Your support makes it possible for us to work with over 500 brain injury survivors and family members each year. With your help we can provide opportunities to BI survivors to take up valuable roles which improve their confidence and well being. Read stories about the impact of our work here. Yes. Please ensure you include the charity number (1083910) and send any materials to support-us@headwayeastlondon.org for approval.
Gift Aid is an income tax relief designed to benefit charities. If you’re a UK taxpayer, Gift Aid increases the value of your charity donations by 25% because the charity can reclaim the basic rate of tax on your gift at no extra cost to you. For a charity to claim Gift Aid on your donation you must first have paid UK Income or Capital Gains Tax that financial year. The tax you pay must be equivalent to the amount of Gift Aid the charity will reclaim on your donation that tax year.
